We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our emergency medicine services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide full scope of practice as an emergency physician, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients
- Participate in call and provide emergency medical services to patients in the eastern zone
- Operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Family physicians must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Specialists must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and advanced Airway training are required
