We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician to join our team at Deer Ridge Family Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
- Examine patients to identify diseases and injuries, and develop treatment plans to address their health needs.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
- Consult with other medical professionals to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in health care policy and planning to ensure that our clinic is providing the highest level of care to our patients.
- Advise patients on health care and wellness, and provide education on healthy habits and disease prevention.
- Report births, deaths, contagious diseases and other health-related information to government authorities as required.
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) or equivalent certification.
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) or equivalent licensure.
- Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II) or equivalent examination.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
