Senior Mechanical Designer

Join JMP Solutions, a leading automation systems integrator, as a Senior Mechanical Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom automation solutions using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other design tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical systems for automation solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet customer requirements
- Perform engineering calculations to validate functionality and feasibility of designs
- Develop 2D and 3D designs, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation
- Lead design reviews and communicate design direction to stakeholders
- Assist with the development of other Mechanical Designers through coaching and mentorship
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in electrical, mechanical, or software controls technology
- At least eight years of relevant work experience in automation design
- Proven leadership qualities and strong communication skills
- Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other design tools
- Knowledge of industrial automation and robotics
- Competitive hourly rate: $35 - $55/hour
