About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Earls Restaurant (Grande Prairie) Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and sales records to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including specialty foods and meals for guests with dietary restrictions.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic kitchen setting.
