Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing uniformed security supervision for all contract guards working at various high-profile corporate locations in Brampton facilities, properties, assets, and events.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure guards assigned to work at the city meet the mandatory skill set required to work at the assigned location.
- Ensure guards assigned to work at the city are licensed, have completed the required training, and are in proper uniform.
- Arrange and review site-specific training with contract security guards.
- Perform random checks of guards to ensure their knowledge and performance meet city expectations.
- Respond to major incidents, ensuring guards respond and document their observations, findings, and actions appropriately.
- Review incident reports submitted by guards to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Initiate disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Complete daily briefs to Security Services Management and other personnel.
- Complete patrols with the use of an electronic guard tour software.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the city.
- Minimum two (2) years of Security Guard experience in a municipal government or corporate environment would be an asset.
- Minimum three years of Supervisor experience is preferred.
- Post-secondary education in a related field would be an asset.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as customer service skills.
- Must possess a valid Security License for the Province of Ontario.
- Must possess a current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Must possess a valid G Class License and a clean abstract.
- Physical Demands: excessive walking, standing, exposed to all weather conditions, and extreme temperatures.
- Utilize two-way radio and computer applications.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required. Bilingual and multilingual applicants are preferred.
- Must participate in professional development and on-site leveling system requirements.
- Must be flexible with shift availability (security operates 24 hours/day).
- Previous experience or training within a loss prevention/security field is preferred.
- Must complete all required site training within 30 days of on-site hire date.
- Additional job-related tasks and duties as assigned.
- Successful completion of CPO certification within the first six months (training material and course cost covered by Paladin).
- Standard First Aid

- Valid Ontario Security License
