Location: Brampton, ON
Status: Full Time
Schedule: Friday to Sunday
Compensation: $21.42/hr.

Role Overview:
The Event Security Supervisor will oversee uniformed security personnel at various high-profile corporate locations. This role involves supporting the Team Lead and Security Services management with a variety of responsibilities, including conducting proactive patrols and responding to incidents across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that security personnel possess the necessary skills and qualifications for their assigned roles.
- Verify that all guards are licensed, have completed required training, and are in appropriate uniform.
- Coordinate and assess site-specific training for contract security staff.
- Conduct random evaluations of guards to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Respond to significant incidents, ensuring accurate documentation of observations and actions taken.
- Review incident reports for clarity and precision.
- Implement disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Prepare daily reports for Security Services Management and relevant personnel.
- Utilize electronic guard tour software during patrols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in security within a municipal or corporate setting is preferred.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Valid Security License for Ontario is required.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification is necessary.
- Possession of a valid G Class License with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Physical demands include extensive walking and standing, with exposure to various weather conditions.
- Proficiency in using two-way radios and computer applications is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential; bilingual candidates are preferred.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and training.
- Flexibility in shift availability is required, as security operations run 24/7.
- Previous experience in loss prevention or security is beneficial.
- Completion of all required site training within 30 days of hire is expected.
- Successful completion of CPO certification within the first six months is required, with training costs covered by the company.
