About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Athens Security Inc. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring the smooth execution of security protocols, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Security Team: Oversee the activities of security personnel, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and are performing their duties to the highest standard.
  • Monitor Security Operations: Conduct regular checks to ensure that security protocols are being followed, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all security personnel are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to security personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage Security Equipment and Supplies: Oversee the maintenance and repair of security equipment, and ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless and secure environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a security-related field.
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in security protocols and procedures.
Work Environment

The Security Supervisor will work in a variety of settings, including cinemas, hostels, hotels, parking lots, and other secure environments. The role requires the ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
