Head Shipper Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Shipper Coordinator to join our team at Hunter Express Ltd. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and ensure seamless communication.
- Prepare Reports: Develop and submit regular reports to management on shipping and receiving activities.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Logistics Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including the requisitioning and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.
