About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Shipper Coordinator to join our team at Hunter Express Ltd. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Develop and submit regular reports to management on shipping and receiving activities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback.
  • Logistics Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
