  • Project Definition and Planning
    • Collaborate with project sponsors and subject matter experts to define project scope and objectives
    • Develop a detailed project plan, identifying and sequencing activities to ensure successful project execution
  • Project Execution and Management
    • Execute projects according to the project plan, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
    • Manage project financials, including accurate invoicing and budget documentation
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
    • Liaise with internal and external teams to facilitate project success
  • Decision-Making and Process Improvement
    • Facilitate and guide decision-making on project solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and efficiency gains
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Provide high-quality communication to stakeholders, executives, and team members
    • Deliver timely project status reports, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Lessons Learned and Continuous Improvement
    • Conduct lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and drive business change
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in project management
  • Ability to translate complex issues and their resolution to stakeholders and senior management
  • Experience with management of projects related to data center infrastructure, cloud computing, and networking
  • Understanding of high-level technical architecture
  • Ability to liaise with technical and non-technical staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • PMP designation

This is a minimum 12-month contract with potential extension, located in downtown Toronto (remote work until deemed safe).
