Senior Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and enable the successful execution of IT data center infrastructure/MPLS related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with project sponsors and subject matter experts.
  • Project Execution: Create detailed project plans, identify and sequence activities, and execute projects according to plan.
  • Financial Management: Manage project financials, ensure accurate invoicing, and maintain budget documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, liaise with internal and external teams, and ensure roles and responsibilities are clarified.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication with stakeholders, executives, and team members, and provide relevant and high-quality information.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and enablers to gain efficiencies.
  • Project Governance: Comply with project governance, communications, and change control standards, and store related documentation in shared team repositories.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management.
  • Ability to translate and communicate complex issues and their resolution to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Experience with management of projects related to data center infrastructure, cloud computing, and networking.
  • Understanding of high-level technical architecture.
  • Ability to liaise with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • PMP designation.
