About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Carpet Plus Flooring. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train construction staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standard.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are being followed and that the work site is a safe environment for all staff and contractors.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are being met.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a construction or related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, and knowledge of construction practices and regulations.
