Real Estate Development Manager

Next Level Group is seeking a skilled Real Estate Development Manager for one of its subsidiary property companies. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing and managing the development of site plans. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating tasks and contractors, acquiring construction sites, handling design and permits, evaluating current conditions, estimating costs, and projecting future value.


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the development of site plans, including the evaluation of existing conditions, cost estimation, and projection of future value.
  • Analyze economic, demographic, market, and environmental factors to identify areas for expansion.
  • Review sites to assess costs and requirements for zoning, local ordinances, and acceptability.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors, realtors, engineers, designers, municipal officials, attorneys, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify and evaluate the development potential of specific land tracts.
  • Select sites for commercial, residential, and/or industrial development.
  • Recruit and manage contractors to execute real estate project development.
  • Lead negotiations with contractors regarding terms and costs.
  • Conduct weekly management meetings to review project status.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective interaction with clients, contractors, workers, and various professionals.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, crucial for collaborating with attorneys, construction personnel, and other relevant parties.
  • Basic accounting and financial management skills to effectively handle the budgeting aspects of real estate development.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional time management abilities to ensure timely execution of real estate development projects.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Several years of professional experience in a relevant field.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, architecture, management, construction management, or a related discipline.
