About the Role

Racar Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems.
  • Power Plant Design: Design power plants, machines, and equipment to meet the company's requirements.
  • Analysis and Testing: Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures, and conduct testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Project Management: Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
  • Supervision: Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers, and review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
  • Business Development: Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Risk Management: Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure the company's success.
  • Leadership: Lead and instruct groups to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Commissioning: Commission systems and components to ensure they meet the company's requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
