Job Summary

Meridia Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic HR Leader to join our team as a Director of Human Resources. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results and support our company's overall objectives.

About the Role

The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company's business objectives and strategy;
  • Assessing our organization's structure, capabilities, and culture to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to strengthen our organizational effectiveness;
  • Overseeing executive compensation programs to ensure they align with our company's performance and governance standards;
  • Supporting current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital;
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction;
  • Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace;
  • Identifying leadership development needs and creating succession plans for key positions within our organization;
  • Partnering with managers to identify critical roles, skills gaps, and future talent needs across the globe;
  • Leading organizational development initiatives to improve our company's performance and employee experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years' experience in Human Resources, including strong leadership experience, ideally at the Director or Executive level;
  • Post-secondary education, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources, or other related discipline with relevant experience;
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation would be considered a strong asset;
  • Experience and/or familiarity with Executive Compensation programs within a public company would be considered a strong asset;
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results;
  • Demonstrated experience using data and metrics to shape and drive HR strategies;
  • Strong and current knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
