Job Title: Commercial Property Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to join our team at Farhi Holdings Corporation. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our commercial properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained, and that our tenants are satisfied with their experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Supervise Rental Agents and Building Superintendents: You will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and supervising a team of rental agents and building superintendents to ensure that our properties are properly managed and maintained.
  • Negotiate or Approve Rental or Lease Agreements: You will work closely with our leasing team to negotiate and approve rental or lease agreements with tenants, ensuring that the terms of the agreements are met.
  • Ensure Terms of Lease Agreements are Met: You will be responsible for ensuring that the terms of lease agreements are met, including rent payments, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Hire and Supervise Support Staff: You will be responsible for hiring and supervising support staff to perform operational, clerical, or maintenance duties.
  • Prepare and Administer Contracts: You will prepare and administer contracts for property services, such as maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Coordinate Implementation of Repairs and Maintenance: You will coordinate the implementation of repairs and maintenance, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor Progress and Cost of Work: You will monitor the progress and cost of work, ensuring that our property owners are informed and satisfied with the work being done.
  • Compile and Maintain Records: You will compile and maintain records on operating expenses and income, ensuring that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare Expense and Income Reports: You will prepare expense and income reports, providing our property owners with accurate and timely financial information.
  • Ensure Response to Trouble Calls: You will ensure that our team responds promptly to trouble calls from clients or tenants, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail
