Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Grounds Maintenance Labourer to assist with landscape constructions, plant care, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have experience working outdoors and be able to lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants, and rake and collect refuse.
  • Cut grass, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, and lay sod or seed.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and apply fertilizers.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal suitability: Dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and hardworking.
