Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at Alcop Resource Recycling Inc.

Job Summary:

The Grounds Maintenance Worker will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our facilities, including landscaping, lawn care, and outdoor maintenance. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the grounds of our facilities, including landscaping, lawn care, and outdoor maintenance.
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass, remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Lay sod or seed, plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and apply fertilizers.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, and write daily basic progress reports.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Will train.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
Work Environment:

The Grounds Maintenance Worker will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The role requires handling heavy loads and working in a physically demanding environment.
