Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at YYC CANADA CONSTRUCTION LTD.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and be able to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsibilities will include loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.
  • The successful candidate will also be able to assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, frame houses, and erect walls and roofs.
  • Additional duties include leveling earth to fine grade specifications, paving and raking asphalt, and cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
  • The Grounds Maintenance Worker will be required to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction and direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction is an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Own tools and equipment, including gloves and a cellular phone.
  • Strong client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
