Healthcare Application Consultant - Diagnostic Cardiology/Emergency Care/Ventilation (Remote/Travel: Western Canada)

As a Healthcare Application Consultant, you will leverage your interpersonal, clinical, and sales expertise alongside our comprehensive training programs and dedication to on-the-job learning to assist in pre-sales and customer education for Philips Diagnostic Cardiology, Emergency Care, and Ventilation solutions.

Please note that company relocation benefits will not be available for this role. Candidates must reside in Western Canada (BC, AB, SK, and MB), with a preference for those living within commuting distance to major urban centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employing outstanding organizational and customer service abilities to provide pre-sales assistance and deliver post-sales application training; acting as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams throughout various stages of the sales and implementation processes.
  • Planning and conducting onsite application training sessions, go-lives, and ongoing support for end-user clinicians regarding the effective utilization of Philips products, adhering to established guidelines, proactive training strategies, and/or workflow assessments. Assisting sales teams with client presentations, demonstrations, trials, site visits, trade show support, and educational events, with a specific focus on clinical and technical aspects. Ensuring the product and/or solution is operational; executing clinical configurations and setups as necessary.
  • Cultivating exceptional customer experiences and robust business relationships to comprehend needs and business drivers, thereby developing training solutions for pre-sales, installation, and post-installation support.
  • Facilitating the resolution of client issues by utilizing a collaborative approach with sales and service teams, adhering to escalation and feedback protocols. Partnering on business priorities, new product launches, business unit projects, clinical/technical input for proposals, and configuration of quotes and orders.
  • Approximately 80% travel (including frequent overnight stays) across Western Canada is expected. Some weekend travel may also be necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse in a critical care hospital setting. Experience with both invasive and non-invasive ventilation therapies is essential. Cardiology experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with cardiology devices (e.g., cardiographs, cardiac stress testing, cardiac Holter monitoring) and emergency resuscitation equipment (e.g., AEDs, defibrillators), along with knowledge of monitoring, diagnostic, and ventilation supplies. Familiarity with Philips products for basic or advanced applications is advantageous.
  • Completion of a three-year post-secondary degree in respiratory therapy or a four-year degree in nursing. Verification of registration/licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse in a Canadian province is required.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory. French language skills are a plus.
  • A passion for technology and education related to patient care is essential. Prior experience in clinical training and educational delivery is highly valued.
  • Ability to meet the following physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements, with or without accommodation, for this clinical role.
  • Must be capable of:

    • Working in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a healthcare environment; adhering to all requirements.
    • Adapting to flexible hours based on business needs.
    • Wearing all necessary personal protective equipment.
    • Complying with vendor credentialing requirements as needed.
