Position Overview:

The MEDITECH Clinical Consultant will collaborate with the Healthtech Inc. Consulting Services team, Practice Managers, and Directors to facilitate solution development, address intricate client challenges, and deliver outstanding on-site solutions tailored to the requirements of our clients in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting services related to healthcare technology for Healthtech clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in specific MEDITECH domains.
  • Engage in build, implementation, strategic planning, and readiness assessment projects as assigned.
  • Utilize technical expertise to assist in client system builds, identifying and resolving issues.
  • Guide client project teams in project execution and system build strategies.
  • Document and track risks and issues effectively.
  • Analyze workflows and offer optimization recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with project leadership, ensuring thorough documentation and facilitation of solutions.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, perform gap analyses, and contribute to the creation of summary reports for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with change management procedures, maintaining comprehensive documentation for all applications.
  • May lead Healthtech projects as appropriate, leveraging skills outlined in the Project Lead role description.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and assist with other corporate initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in the healthcare field.
  • At least three years of hands-on experience with MEDITECH's clinical or revenue cycle management solutions.
  • Experience in validation, package testing, application resolution, and system change design/build/testing.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one clinical module; experience in multiple modules is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the MEDITECH Expanse platform is a plus.
  • Prior consulting experience is beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with advanced presentation capabilities.
  • Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or other Health Informatics credentials are advantageous.
  • Highly organized, capable of multitasking while maintaining focus on individual tasks.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptable, able to quickly adjust to new project assignments and environments.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and colleagues.
  • Commitment to adhering to client workplace rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Willingness to travel as required by project locations.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, integrity, and respect for others.
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism.
