Risk Management Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Leader to join our Corporate Commercial and Risk team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our risk management function, supporting related corporate stakeholders, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to mitigate potential risks and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and prioritize risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on risk management best practices and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- 5+ years of experience in risk management, preferably in the construction and engineering industry.
- University diploma in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of enterprise and project risk management processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
