About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Leader to join our Corporate Commercial and Risk team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our risk management function, while supporting related corporate stakeholders, services to business lines, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and improve risk management and enterprise business practices
  • Develop and implement pursuit and project management methodologies
  • Capture goals, needs, and requirements
  • Analyze and map risk management processes and workflows
  • Understand interfaces with other functional methodologies
  • Develop procedures and guidelines
  • Develop traditional and e-training material
  • Facilitate workshops and live sessions
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to commercial & risk management
  • Support networking and sharing initiatives
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction and engineering field (or any related field)
  • University diploma in Engineering or other process and business improvement related field
  • Multidisciplinary functional or project experience (quality, process, cost control, scheduling, contract management, procurement, HS, environment, business continuity or other)
  • Understanding of enterprise and project risk management processes
  • Strong ability to capture and analyze information
  • Experience in mapping processes and developing procedures
  • Comfortable communicating with functional groups as well as project teams
  • Facility in speaking in front of smaller and larger groups
  • Be motivated, structured, autonomous, and proactive
  • Bilingual (French & English) is preferred
