Job Title: Commercial Insurance Broker

Selectpath Insurance, a Navacord Partner, is seeking a talented Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a book of business, servicing clients, and assisting producers in obtaining and maintaining business.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a renewal book of business and work closely with producers and staff on client service, marketing, and renewal.
  • Initiate account planning with producers 100 days in advance of renewal and provide same-day response time.
  • Develop comprehensive plans for existing clients and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals for prospect and stewardship reviews and manage account documentation.
  • Review client coverage and exposures, loss experience, and analyze risk to determine product/service requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date EPIC workflow documentation and ensure workflows are followed.
  • Participate in cross-sell campaigns and other initiatives as required.
  • Develop knowledge of related insurance products and client needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance experience required.
  • R.I.B.O license required.
  • Working towards C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designation an asset.
  • Superb interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and EPIC.
