Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at SB GARDENING & LANDSCAPING SERVICES.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and other landscaping features. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Execution: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, and oversee the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
  • Staff Management: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  • Labour and Materials Estimation: Plan and estimate labour and materials required for projects.
  • Worksite Environment: Ensure a safe and healthy worksite environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: On-the-road job with a permanent employment duration.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
