We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at SB GARDENING & LANDSCAPING SERVICES.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of landscaping projects. This includes direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, as well as hiring, supervising, and scheduling staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Execution: Direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, and organize planting of trees, gardens, and lawns.
  • Staff Management: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff, and plan and estimate labour and materials.
  • Construction and Maintenance: Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, and plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain work records and logs, and resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Workplace Management: Establish work schedules and procedures, and ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, with occasional travel to work sites.
