About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at CL Chartered Professional Accountant Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Payroll and Tax Preparation: Prepare payrolls and tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Office.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, accuracy, client focus, and strong organizational skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team.
