About the Role

MR. GARBAGE CORP. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and calculating fixed assets and depreciation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Asset Management: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and ensure accurate tracking of company assets.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Security Clearance: Must undergo a criminal record check.
Work Environment

As a Bookkeeping Specialist at MR. GARBAGE CORP., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
