Bookkeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at 7518740 Manitoba Inc. as a permanent employee.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, including trial balance of books.
- Bookkeeping Systems: Utilize manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to maintain and balance various accounts.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
