Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
- Payroll Processing: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Financial Analysis: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Accounting Systems: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
- Security Clearance: Must undergo a criminal record check.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Health Benefits: Eligible for dental plan and health care plan.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, permanent position.
