About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at ROUTE KING TRANSPORT LTD. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including preparation of tax returns and other tax-related documents.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
