About the Role

The Business Development Executive will collaborate with a virtual portfolio team to engage, retain, and expand Energy Exemplar's clientele in Canada. The focus will be on generating new revenue from existing strategic accounts while also identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential users within current and new customer business sectors
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team for account strategy
  • Engage in sales initiatives and implement strategies
  • Develop comprehensive market knowledge of Energy Exemplar solutions
  • Manage the sales process from initial outreach to deal closure
  • Keep customer profiles and documentation current
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets and ensure the customer success dashboard is maintained

Candidate Qualifications

  • Understanding of the power generation sector
  • Experience in outbound prospecting and customer relationship management
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building capabilities
  • Ability to comprehend customer goals and expectations
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving circumstances
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or management
