Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations, including clinical evaluations, in alignment with departmental protocols to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Ensure optimal patient care by adhering to organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Uphold the organization's mission and values while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Deliver high-quality imaging to radiologists and vascular surgeons, providing accurate preliminary technical impressions and discussing ultrasound results with physicians as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties related to the job classification as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited ultrasound technology program.
  • ARDMS (CRGS) certification and RVT (CRVS) are mandatory.
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario is required.
  • Membership with Sonography Canada is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the following areas: Peripheral arterial Doppler assessments, dialysis access evaluations, peripheral venous imaging, extra cranial carotid duplex, and AAA screening.
  • Demonstrated skill in producing high-quality ultrasound images.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Physical capability to perform the expected job responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to organize tasks, set objectives, and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to foster an environment conducive to effective teaching and learning, and provide consultation with clinical educators.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team, exhibiting strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
  • Willingness to travel and work across all Osler locations as needed.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Currently includes Days, Evenings, Nights, and may involve weekends and statutory holidays, subject to operational requirements.

SALARY:
Minimum: $ per hour
Maximum: $ per hour
