Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Manager to join our team at Sodexo Canada Ltd. As a key member of our Support Services department, you will be responsible for supervising staff and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Support Services department to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality service.
  • Coordinate catering orders and maintain service and food safety standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs for front-line employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in scheduling and hiring of front-line staff and assist in determining staffing levels to meet service and efficiency requirements.
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels, waste, and safety to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process diet changes and perform clerical tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create efficiencies, reduce costs, and maintain budgetary requirements.
  • Meet with clients to review dietary concerns, menu plans, and other projects.
  • Assist in the creation, evaluation, and adjustment of catering services.
  • Support the roll-out of new programs and offerings.
  • Conduct satisfaction surveys and address customer concerns.
  • Perform regular compliance audits and complete safety-related tasks.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education.
  • 3+ years of experience in the healthcare food service field.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with computer applications and programs, including email, MS Office, and operations-related software.
  • Avid problem solver and creative thinker.
  • Highly developed people skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team-building, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, positive attitude, and 'can-do' approach to delivering results.
