Job Title: Corporate Application Technical Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Application Technical Leader to join our team at the City of Toronto. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise business applications and information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the successful delivery of complex IT projects and initiatives.
  • Lead and manage technical teams to design, develop, and implement enterprise business applications and information systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture, design, and implementation plans.
  • Ensure the security, privacy, and quality assurance of enterprise business applications and information systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the City of Toronto remains at the forefront of IT innovation.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field, with extensive experience in large-scale IT solutions.
  • Strong technical expertise in solution design, development, implementation, and support.
  • Experience leading technical teams and managing IT projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
