About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Specialist to join our team at W & M Wire & Metal Product Ltd. as a key member of our design and engineering department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and product lines.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed technical reports and specifications.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain documentation packages and drawing sets for projects.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
