Job Summary

Rogers Communications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Studio Manager to join our team of professionals in Toronto, ON. As a key member of our Breakfast Television team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our studio, ensuring that all productions run efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise between studio floor and production control room to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Prepare and ready on-camera personnel for productions, ensuring they are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Assist on-air talent as required, providing support and guidance during studio and on-location productions.
  • Coordinate studio activities as required by the control room director, ensuring that all productions meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a television production and post-production environment.
  • Demonstrate initiative and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive and productive team environment, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Degree or diploma in Broadcasting or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the aesthetics and program flow, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
