Position Overview:

The Load Management Specialist is integral to ensuring the safe and efficient turnaround of aircraft for our esteemed clients. This role involves meticulous attention to detail and adherence to aviation regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aircraft Turnaround: Ensure the secure and timely turnaround of aircraft, maintaining safety protocols.
  • Payload Management: Manage the movement of payload during transit flights, ensuring compliance with weight and balance specifications.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Verify NOTOC documentation in accordance with aviation regulations.
  • Proactive Coordination: Stay ahead in all aspects of Load Control, including flight plans, meteorological data, and PIBs.
  • PNL Management: Provide accurate PNL data to the flight system for check-in processes.
  • Flight Preparation: Confirm the correct hold version, crew assignments, and pantry requirements for each flight.
  • Weight Adjustments: Modify service weights as necessary to meet operational needs.
  • Cargo Weight Verification: Gather cargo weights and manage offload orders as specified by carriers.
  • Zero Fuel Weight Calculation: Compute and communicate estimated Zero Fuel Weight messages.
  • Baggage Management: Calculate ULDS requirements and liaise with the baggage team accordingly.
  • Load Plan Completion: Finalize the load plan and general deck list as required by various carriers.
  • Flight Plan Retrieval: Access and retrieve necessary flight plans efficiently.
  • Slot Management: Secure new slots in the event of flight delays.
  • Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with the Operations team to obtain final weights from the flight deck for the load sheet.
  • Documentation: Ensure the signed load plan is obtained from the ramp supervisor and secure a signed NOTOC from the captain.
  • Flight Mode Verification: Confirm that the flight is in PD mode.
  • Load Control File Creation: Develop and maintain the load control file, ensuring all documentation is organized per checklist requirements.
  • Message Release: Ensure all flight messages are dispatched as mandated by the carrier.
  • Cargo Communication: Inform the cargo warehouse about offloaded cargo from the flight.
  • Flight Statistics Reporting: Provide flight statistics as required by the carrier.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake any reasonable tasks as requested by management.
  • Safety Compliance: Uphold all safety and security policies, recognizing that safety is a collective responsibility.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Familiarity with load control principles.
  • Understanding of DCS systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in mathematics.
Functional Knowledge:
  • Experience in load control or ramp supervision is preferred.
Business Acumen:
  • Adhere to airline regulations and procedures diligently.
  • Fulfill additional duties as directed by the Duty Manager.
  • Comply with company policies regarding attendance, leave, and performance standards.
  • Maintain exemplary service levels to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Participate in all mandatory training sessions as required by the company.
  • Follow the company's disciplinary code strictly.
  • Ensure all communications from the company, clients, and airport authorities are acknowledged and understood.
