Mechanical Field Operations Manager

As a Mechanical Field Manager at Ganotec, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our industrial construction projects. You will oversee the organization, work methods, scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance of mechanical field operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate and plan mechanical field operations to ensure efficient project execution.
- Oversee the work of discipline craft supervisors and sub-contractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of work performed to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Develop and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Manage and confirm information within the BIM Model is up to date and accurate.
- Administer subcontracts as intended, with the assistance of the Project Engineer.
- 8+ years' construction experience, with 3+ years in a Mechanical Superintendent/Manager/Leadership capacity.
- Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience with BIM a must, 3-5 years preferred.
- Experience working on rail projects highly desirable.
- Ability to oversee multiple disciplines such as steel, piping, and mechanical.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
