Mechanical Field Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Field Manager to join our team at Kiewit. As a Mechanical Field Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our projects, overseeing the organization, work methods, scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance of mechanical construction activities.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and plan projects in a particular construction area, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Oversee all operations relating to mechanical construction, including discipline craft supervision and subcontractor management.
- Direct and manage a team of mechanical construction professionals, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks.
- Perform daily inspections of work performed, ensuring compliance with company standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Manage and confirm information within the BIM Model is up to date and accurate.
- Administer subcontracts as intended, working closely with the Project Engineer.
Requirements:
- 8+ years' construction experience, with 3+ years in a Mechanical Superintendent/Manager/Leadership capacity.
- Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience with BIM a must, 3-5 years preferred.
- Experience working on rail projects highly desirable.
- Ability to oversee multiple disciplines, including steel, piping, and mechanical.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
