Position: Natural Foods Manager

Department: Natural Foods

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service in a friendly and efficient manner to uphold our reputation for a welcoming and personalized shopping experience.
  • Oversee the accurate ordering and organization of products within the Natural Foods department.
  • Engage with customers proactively to promote our range of Natural products.
  • Advise and sell Natural Foods and associated products and services to our clientele.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels within the Natural Foods section.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, direct, and manage department personnel.
  • Ensure the department's cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in health food management within a retail environment.
  • A degree in health sciences or completion of relevant post-secondary education.
  • Certification as a Holistic Nutritionist is mandatory (RHN, CNP, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge in naturopathic medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, and herbal remedies is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with organic produce, meats, and bakery items.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
