Job Title: Research Associate

Job Summary:

The CHEO Research Institute is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in grant writing, drafting manuscripts, and managing administrative responsibilities of the research department.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in grant writing and draft initial grant applications
  • Draft manuscripts under the supervision of Dr. Robinson
  • Manage administrative responsibilities of the research department, including human resources
  • Oversee and assist with the coordination of multiple research studies for Dr. Robinson

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a social science/education/health field and/or equivalent field
  • PhD degree (preferred)
  • Experience with writing grants for CIHR or NIH
  • Published at least 5 manuscripts as first or last author
  • Experience with health Canada regulated clinical trials
  • Minimum 3 years clinical research experience

Working Conditions:

  • Flexibility to work remotely in a hybrid work model
  • Able to work under tight deadlines
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently

  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Compliance with CHEO RI's Universal COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
  • Police Record Check
