Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Service Delivery to lead our Transportation Operations team at Gate Gourmet. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business results, improving service quality, and reducing operating costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of transportation professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Customer Focus: Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks associated with transportation operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of management experience in transportation operations, with a proven track record of leadership and results.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Certifications: Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Logistics or related field.
