About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Mountainview Medical Centre & Walk-In Clinic Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Interview patients to obtain case histories, ensuring accurate and comprehensive information is collected.
  • Administrative Support: Open and distribute incoming mail, manage filing systems, and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Enter and format medical reports, prepare spreadsheets and documents for review, and maintain confidential medical files and records.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 1-6 months of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MEDITECH; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
