Position Overview

As a Food Counter Representative at David Beaulieu Enterprises Ltd., you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers in a fast-paced café environment.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
Work Environment

This position is set in a vibrant coffee shop, where teamwork and efficiency are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other items to serving areas while ensuring tables are properly set.
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing and sanitizing tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Efficiently operate dishwashing equipment to ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned.
  • Organize and store dishes in designated areas.
  • Manually wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items as needed.
  • Prepare take-out food orders with care.
  • Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet stations with a friendly demeanor.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure availability of fresh items.
  • Accurately take and process customer orders.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate storage areas.
  • Manage kitchen waste by removing garbage and trash regularly.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
