Title: Cement Engineering Technician
Reports to: Reliability Manager
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

The Cement Engineering Technician plays a vital role in supporting various operational functions at the Ash Grove Cement Plant. Responsibilities include:
- Adhering to all safety protocols within the plant.
- Assisting with maintenance activities, including serving as a confined space entry monitor.
- Performing administrative tasks as needed, such as processing purchase orders and SAP requests.
- Conducting field inspections and supporting environmental compliance initiatives.
- Contributing to sustainable practices and greenhouse gas reduction efforts.
- Testing and auditing plant systems.
- Analyzing data and preparing comprehensive reports.
- Assisting in the development of operational and maintenance procedures.
- Evaluating production data for efficiency improvements.
- Preparing cost-benefit analyses.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience: No prior experience required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Education: Post-secondary education in relevant fields such as Engineering Technology, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications, with experience in MS Excel and/or SAP being advantageous.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn; ability to manage changing priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of generating effective solutions promptly.
- Project management capabilities.
- Team-oriented mindset; ability to collaborate across departments.

This role involves diverse tasks and is not routine. Technicians will work outdoors, at heights, in warm conditions, and in dusty environments. The position primarily operates during the day, but flexibility for shifts or weekend work may be necessary.
Work Environment:The position is based throughout the plant.
