Overview:

The Training Coordinator is responsible for creating educational programs for technical and craft training to equip employees with the essential skills and knowledge necessary for safe and efficient job performance. This role collaborates with various departments to develop and execute individualized training plans and schedules. The Training Coordinator evaluates the effectiveness of training initiatives to improve workforce performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for safety protocols within the plant.
  • Plan and organize training sessions.
  • Facilitate learning through diverse instructional methods.
  • Manage training logistics and resources.
  • Maintain partnerships with external training providers.
  • Coordinate training activities held off-site.
  • Develop evaluation tools for training effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training requirements.
  • Establish and oversee mentoring initiatives.
  • Identify and address skill gaps among employees.
  • Administer the training budget effectively.
  • Foster relationships with training resources.
  • Conduct refresher training sessions for specific tasks.
  • Lead training programs focused on leadership development.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of higher education in engineering, training, or related disciplines.
  • At least 7 years of experience in operational and maintenance roles within a plant environment.
