The Cement Engineering Technician plays a crucial role in supporting various operational functions at the Ash Grove Cement Plant. Responsibilities include:
- Adhering to all safety protocols within the plant.
- Assisting with maintenance activities, including serving as a confined space entry monitor.
- Performing administrative tasks as required by the department.
- Conducting field inspections and supporting environmental compliance projects.
- Contributing to sustainable practices and greenhouse gas reduction initiatives.
- Testing and auditing plant systems, along with data analysis and report preparation.
- Assisting in the development of operational and maintenance procedures.
- Analyzing production data for efficiency improvements.
- Preparing cost-benefit analyses and undertaking additional duties as assigned.
Experience: 0+ years; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Education: Post-secondary education in Engineering Technician, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Excel and/or SAP.
