Tooling Engineering Project Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tooling Engineering Project Lead to join our team at Presstran. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing tooling engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of tooling engineers in the design, development, and implementation of tooling solutions for automotive components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and identifying potential risks or issues.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to the team on tooling design principles, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tooling engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex tooling projects.
  • Strong understanding of CAD/CAM software and tooling design principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
