About the Role

The Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of manufacturing programs. This includes managing vendor activities, design, tooling, and parts suppliers to meet customer requirements and Cosma/Presstran standards.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and assess requirements for new and existing manufacturing processes within the plant.
  • Establish process requirements regarding machine, material, and methods in the quoting stage, launch stage, and engineering changes.
  • Manage suppliers and balance all requirements.
  • Ability to balance the program triangle (budget, resources, objectives).
  • Advanced knowledge of GD&T and ability to lead CFT and customer discussions.
  • Create and interpret Man & Machine Cycle Time Charts.
  • Working understanding of RSW and Sealer/Adhesive dispensing systems with bead detection methods.
  • Review product CAD and develop an assembly process.
  • Advance knowledge of PFMEA development and RPN reduction.
  • Make improvements in dimensional capability through CMM data interpretation, product understanding, tooling understanding, and upstream inputs.
  • Competent in problem-solving tools such as 3L5W, fishbone, is/is not, and A3.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Assembly and processing equipment from inception to launch.
  • Experience with various welding processes (e.g., Mig, Spot, Projection, etc.).
